What a Mess!

I always raved about the fact that I had a clean eater in Emily. She hated getting anything on her hands or table when she ate. I guess it was too good to last. Lindsay eats as if she is storing some away for the winter. She puts her fingers in her mouth after every bite and then proceeds to spread it around. This may be the reason I hesitate to give her solids anymore!

Fun at Penny Park!

Last week Tifani and I took the kids with us for a jeans run to Silver City, NM. (They have awesome jeans that are real comfy, and actually fit me, at a store called Maurice's.) After the store we stopped at Arby's and Subway and headed to Penny Park. It was awesome! It was a public park comprised of castles, trains, villages, slides and all kinds of things! It was really big! Emily could have spent a whole afternoon there! We all had a real good time. Although after the drive home, we decided that next time Palmer is flying us there!

Emily's new love

Emily received this great stable set, complete with horses....and fences  that had to be glued together! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Holt! She loves it. She can play with it for hours!
She is not limited to horses. Her dinosaurs have a place to call home here at the ranch!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The leprechaun had a snack in Emily's Bathroom
He made a mess in her room...but not all was lost. At the end of the string there was a pot of gold! (REESES AND ROLOS!)
On our way to pick up sister from school!
For breakfast we had green eggs and lunch was comprised of green Ramen and green milk! Emily loved it! I am still trying to find something to make green for dinner.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We made sure we all wore green to avoid the leprechaun's pinches!

Sanity Saver!

Lindsay was having a really bad day. She wouldn't let me put her down! She is usually really good at laying on the floor and playing with her toys, but today she didn't want anything to do with them! So to save my sanity I gave her a piece of Jerky. Wow! She went to town on it! I would of left her there for a whole hour, but the jerky was getting a little soggy. I didn't want her to actually swallow any. I'm not that bad of a mom! As you can see in the video, she gets really anxious when I take it away! I might need to stock up for when she has another one of "those" days.
