Emily was playing dress up this morning, and when I checked in on her she came out wearing her Build-A-Bear clothes. I just had to take a picture!

Disneyland 2007

We just got back from a fabulose vacation to the happiest place on Earth! Disneyland! We had a blast. We took two days to drive, which was nice. We went with Robert & Alisha and thier kids and Scott & Sabrina and their kids. It was a lot of fun. Emily loved it. She tried almost every ride she was big enough for. Although Matterhorn did frighten her a little. She didn't like the abominable snowman! Some of her favorite rides were Dumbo, Teacups, Haunted Mansion, Gadget's Go Coaster and Pirates of the Caribbean. We even had lunch at Ariel's Grotto, just the girls, and had lunch with the Princesses. That was a big hit. It was a trip we will never forget and look forward to many more. Halloween

This halloween Emily wanted to be Princess Aurora, but after trying on her costume she decided it was too itchy, So that went into the dress up box and Mom and Grandma Holt whipped up this snazzy cat costume!

Jack-O-Lantern

Today Emily and I carved our pumpkin. We made a spider. It was a lot of fun. I had to do all the dirty work because Emily didn't want to get her hands dirty. But she thought it was so cool when we finished that we went and bought another one to make for Family Home Evening next week. Things are good right now in our family. I'm a little nervous about our Primary Program this week. I'm sure Alisha is too! But I will be happy when it's over, because next week we're going to Disneyland! I am very excited. Emily is too! Whe wants to try all of her new food so that she can go! (We made a book full of pictures of new foods she needs to try, like cchicken nuggets and PB&J!) I'll have pictures next week of our Halloween celebration!

Just a quick update. Palmer and I just got back from a great trip to Vegas. Palmer had a meeting at the Hooters casino and resort. We went with another couple and had a blast. Lots of shopping and dining, even won a few buck on the slots.(but lost a lot more!) Don't worry, I'm not an addict. Just had loose change burning a hole in my pocket. We're home safe now. Emily had a great time with Grandma too.didn't miss us at all. Hope everyone is well.

Emily's 1st Haircut

Well, we finally gave Emily a haircut. it was hard, since her hair was so long and full of curls! But it looks great now, and hopefully her hair will have less tangles. We'll see what palmer says after work. He doesn't know!

Currently Emily is taking her much needed nap. She had preschool today, which she loves. Today she came home saying she made "sunshine shemacas" (sun marachas). Palmer is busy at work, as usual. I try to find ways to fill up my time. why not make a blog!
