Bonita Creek

Palmer had a great idea to go to the river on Saturday. We took a sack lunch and invited Angie and her kids and Amy too! We had a great time.

Good thing Amy came along. She was brave enough to venture out into the river. She carried all the kids over to an island that was shallow and sandy. 

We brought the stroller so LIndsay could hang out in the shade.

4th Ward Party

Our ward had a field day on Friday. We had a big potluck dinner, and then all the kids played games and different activities. They organized a softball game for the adults, too. It was a lot of fun.

Due to the economy, the city is needing to cut back funding for some programs! Write or talk to our City Council to try and keep story time. We can't risk losing such a great program. The kids love it, as there is not much else for them to do!

Trip to Tucson

Brandon turned 9 this past weekend and we were invited to his Mad Science birthday party. Emily was so excited. She loves her cousin Brandon!  We had a great time. They had science experiments, Rocket launches and they even learned how to make their own bouncy ball. Palmer took us over there in the plane.This was Lindsay's first time up and she did great, even sleeping all the way back. Here are a few pics!

This was the Mad Scientist that did the birthday party. This was during the rocket launch, which took 4 attempts.   Poor guy, but the kids still thought it was awesome!

Easter

Teesha and Paetyn came over to decorate easter eggs with us. Grandma Goodman got to come, too! She got to play with these cuties while we were working!

Emily wanted to really color her eggs. So we busted out the crayons. They turned out pretty neat!

I didn't trust her enough to let her do it while wearing a shirt. But she did great. I think I probably made a bigger mess than she did!
